yeah thats what i figured, somewhere around 14's. ive got a near stock 89 crx si and its pretty fun to drive but of course its not that fast. i was driving my g35 coupe yesterday and ran a crx with a b16 swap. it was pretty quick off the line but i took him in third gear and up. im still trying to find a smog shop so i can do the b16 swap in my crx cuz thats all i can afford and the stock si block is at about 170k now .

i miss vtec

My brother's ,"Ill Will" on this forum, first 88 HF powered by a B16A2 used to run consistent 13.5's at Carlsbad back in the day before it was totalled. Everyone swore it was built, but in reality we never even removed the valve cover LOL

He had simple bolt-ons like a Iceman CAI,ACT clutch, CTR header, Mugen programed computer, Jimfab crossmember, and little "20 MT slicks on "14 stocks.

Heres some old pics....

89 Crx HF - 14.1
1st gen b16, y1 lsd, intake, header, exhaust, pr3 mugen chipped ecu , slicks.
140hp 106tq.

As for people claiming to hit 13s I don't know. I have a friend with a 2nd gen b16 with same bolt ons = 161hp 107tq he hit 13.8 with slicks. In a 88 crx dx

Damn, those are some good times! I only got three runs with mine (all stock except CAI) running stock tires with the best time of 15.2 and of course a lot of spinning off 1st and a little in second. This was with my old 1st gen B16, I've got a newer 2nd gen but needs some issues worked out.

Your times will drop. I started out running 15's too. Don't be afraid to abuse the B16A, it loves it.

i had a 91 crx dx w/ b16, i/h/e clutchmasters clutch and vafc etc, minimal mods, running 13.87, with my dad driving (very good driver, but i think there was something internally done to my motor when i got it from japan, it was wayyy too quick for what it was) my best time out of it was a 14.18, i forget the mph now...wish i could find that old timeslip, on to bigger and better things tho now howabout you take yours up and let us know what you run!?!?! lol good luck with whatever you decide to do...
