Valve cover: brand name or no??? Any opinions???
Have a 2000 civic; looking to change the valve cover. Does anyone have ANY reason why I should use a name brand for the cover? Or is it cool to use an aftermarket model?
All opinions would be helpful.

Exactly. This is going to be the defining factor in any valve cover.

You guys are mean. Just get one that had baffles. Stock, Spoon of course since it's a painted stock one, Mugen, and a company that makes a carbon fiber valve cover has a baffle, don't know any beyond that.
