would these type of rims from 3g civics be lighter than vx(aka...hx..92-95)....wheels?

For the record HX and VX wheels are not the same, or even close.

The 85-87 CRX wheels, commonly referred to as "button holes" were 14x5" and weighed 15.4 lbs.

If you're looking for an easy to find/cheap alternative to HX wheels, look for 90-97 Miata wheels. They are the correct offset/bolt pattern but they require the centers to be bored out a few millimeters to accomodate Honda hubs (easy enough to do at home if you're too cheap to pay a machine shop $5-8/wheel).
Depending on what version you get, they weigh between 9 and 12 lbs.
