Have you changed the mileage on your gauge cluster?
Hey guys. Since I put in my integra dash and GSR cluster, I want the mileage to be accurate.
How do you change the mileage of the odometer?
I did a few searches, but the only results I got back had to do with swapping odometers between the clusters. This will not work for me, as I can't swap a JDM Sir odometer with a USDM GSR odometer.
If you've done this before, or know how to do it, please help me out.
Thanks ya'll.

have you already driven the car since you put in the new cluster?
if so then the mileage on your old one is incorrect, unless you know how much you have driven it.
as far as changing it, it is illegal to do so, but if you insist on changing it then i think you can open the cluster and turn a gear to do it.
make sure that if you do this and you decide to sell the car, have paperwork for the buyer stating that they knew the odometer had been changed.

Yes, I have driven the car since I've had in my new cluster. In fact, I've almost driven it 1000 miles since I installed it. The GSR cluster had 2 miles on it when I bought it.
I wrote down my mileage before I took the old cluster out, so all I need to do is add the two different mileages, and that # will be my 'new mileage'.
And as far as having issues if I sold it...well I hope I never have to sell it.
I love my EG

dont worry about it. Im sure it will be stolen before you sell it and you wont have to worry about paperwork with a new owner.
Sigh. Theft.
I've done pretty much everything I can to keep it from getting stolen. I can't explain in words how much I hate thieves. Sometimes I'm almost tempted to use my car as bait, in a dark parking lot, just to draw some thieves out so I can show them justice for their actions...
But then again that could end up backfiring on me, and getting me killed.

ok what about if you wanted to buy a spoon cluster and your actual milage is correct on your stock odometer. Can you match the spoon clusters mileage to your actual mileage, pop it in and call it a day?
