Car was running good, then blowed the head gasket, rebuilt the motor, head reworked, etc. now the engine will run real strong on the bottom end but will just die out after it shifts into higher gears.. Have rebuilt the carb. checked all vac lines, new fuel pump, filters, pulled fuel tank and cleaned and checked all lines to it. But the engine will just die out after it shifts. Any help out there on this oldie but goodie.....
