transmission fluid help!!!!!!!!
It doesn't (the manual ) say anything but this. Use only Honda fluid. But it also says that using engine oil can cause stiffer shifting, because it doesn't have the additives. But from what it says, you can use engine oil. So, if it were me I would try to find some generic manual fluid, if not, I would just get some 10w40 until I could drain it and put some Honda fluid in. Hope this helps.

They should have some kind of manual transmission fluid at pepboys. I changed the manual fluid in a nissan before, I had gotten the fluid from autozone though, I believe.
according to my accord manual, use API grade SF or SG engine oil and viscosity according to the chart. . .. which says '5w30 preferred' but 10w30 will work in warmer temps. hope ya get this in time
