Let me give you a break down of what exactly is going on here.
Got engine, need it in. Had old motor taken out, but mechanic didn't finsh and put the new one in. Need a car to drive so I need my motor in bad. I can't transport the car so it will have to be done at my house. I have all the tools you can think of, just none of the knowledge to put it in. I am willing to pay $300, but price is negotiable. My car is a 94 civic DX 5spd with a 1st gen B16A1 with 99 civic si tranny. I have everything needed to do it, except the know-how. Please help!!!

 

ok.. I can't help myself, but I have to give my own breakdown of whats happening here.. I noticed your sig implies you are from Brooklyn and myself being a fellow NY'er, so I will provide a little deductive reasoning...

"Got engine, need it in" (stolen motor)

"but mechanic didn't finsh and put the new one in" ( the mechanic found out it was a hot motor and bailed from the job and D1ANCER had him "whacked")

" Need a car to drive so I need my motor in bad" (getaway car)

"car so it will have to be done at my house" (easier to get rid of the remains)

"I am willing to pay $300, but price is negotiable" (right up to the last nut or when the other goonies come over and tell you to get lost permanantly and you walk away empty handed)

Take into consideration your local Honda or Import shop and talk to some technicians in person if they would be interested in your offer, sounds like an easy enuff job and a good days pay to those who are qualified... I know of many good techs that would take that offer if it were in my local area of upstate ny....
