clutch cable Q

Well w/ my last cable it was hard as hell to push down, and its still not easy. Not anywhere as easy as all my friends' cars. It is still hard to push down, I just got a 93 integra cable from acura on a b16 w/ hasport conversion.
I assume your friends transmissions were hydraulic, and yours is cable... thats why the difference in pedal feel.
Next I would assume your pressure plate is more a racing design, that is why the padal is harder to press.
Im almost positive you are experienceing one of the 2 above situations....
No... Adjusting that cable will not make the cabel snap... that cable is very strong.
Since you probably dont know what you are doing... I would suggest that you take it to someone who does... so your clutch does not end up misadjusted... and prematurely worn.
