I'm looking for a diy to make just my front parking lights stay on when I drive. Any help would be great.

i guess you could just cut the power wire that runs them "steady on." Make sure it's not the power wire that makes the second filament flash, and then just run that wire to the ACC. spot on your fuse box.

I've never done it before or even considered it, but I'm sure you can wire a switch to those lights to make it operate the way you want them to while keeping the original manufacturer spec operations too. I wouldn't recommend cutting any wires actually.......only because it could lead to headaches later on. Then again, just becareful and think this out before you decide. Doing it wrong can lead to electrical nightmares

Get a daytime running light kit and wire it up to the parking lights. However it will be pretty useless in the daytime because they're so dim. Corvette (and many other current GM vehicles) DRL's use the high filament of a dual filament bulb, or just a standard 21/27W bulb. You could wire the DRL kit to your turn signals, and it would be bright like the GM vehicles, but it would eventually distort the turn signal lenses, as they weren't designed to take the continuous heat from those turn signal high filaments being constantly on all the time.

You could wire just the lights that you want onto a separate switch. You will need to isolate the lights from the stock circuit using a diode, otherwise all of the parking lights (taillights) will light.

splice the outside wires, leave the middle one alone, and get 2 AA batteries.
tape that **** and ur done. haha.

jk. yo.

but like that guy said, u can hook up a separate wire and connect it to ur battery. run it through a switch which u can get at radio shaq. u can drill a hole in that center console and place that switch there in one of the 4 squares.

its a lot of work if u want to make it clean and hide the wires so no one can see it.

i did one for my ghetto "Wolf call" horn cuz my stock horn wasnt working.

anyways, got my new alarmed installed the guy alarm guys fucked up my wire cuz they didnt know what it was for and was too lazy to re-run the lines.
