For those with Koni sports....
Hey guys.. well i just got my konis today wooohooo... anyways the instructions that come with these things is kinda hard to nderstand since its all pictures and stuff but anyways.... for the spring perch which position does it need to be on to be lower than stock?
Also did you guys have bands around the shocks like to hold the piston compressed or where they just shipped in a box without a band cuz mine came without a band and i thought most shocks had bands on them when shipped?
Last thing is all the hardware that comes with these things like the washers and stuff does all that have to be put in or what i dont get what all of it is for?
Any info will be greatly appreciated this will be a first time for me installing performance shocks that come with all this stuff cuz im use to just swapping stuff over like on oem shocks.

Hi,
Good luck with the install.
To be lower than stock set the spring perch ring to the lowest - as in the one closest to the bottom of the shock. They come preset to stock height i believe.
No bands on my shocks.
You dont need to put ALL of it on. As you're installing it you'll work out what bits you need and dont need.
Do yourself a favour, go out and buy poly bump stops and a set of spring clamps before you start.
Also make sure you put the spring perch (the thing that goes over the spring perch ring/circlip) on the right way round. It should be put on so it hangs over the top of the spring perch ring and you cant see the ring anymore.
Hope that helps.

im curious about the koni perches too. i mean, with adjustable coilovers like ground control installed, does it matter which perch is used since the coilover sleeve is used to adjust the height too??
