Default Which springs?

I need help picking a set of springs for my friend's '94 del Sol. He's going to be using 205/40/17's and he wants to have no fender gap, but not rub. Which springs should he consider? I was thinking about Neuspeed race springs, which were a 2" drop

Neuspeed race are great springs. I was going to go with those, except I went with Suspension Techniques w/ a 2.3F and 2R drop. I love them to death! I also have a EJ1 so it would be pretty similar. What is his budget?

U can't drop it 2 inches on 17s and expect not 2 rub........I'd go with Eibach prokit plus thats what my setups gonna be later. It's drops it but not 2 inches plus they ride well and perform

True that. I didnt even see hes gonna be rollin on 17's. I have 16" Rota Slips going on my ride, and that will be a perfect fit.

everyone forgets about the eibach sportline. they lower you a little bit more than the pro-kit.

What about Tein S Tech? Only thing I found weird about them is they're -1.77" front and -1.46" rear. Wouldn't that be kinda slanted? Or is the stock ride height already lower in the back?

Personally, Im not a big fan of TEIN S Tech springs. The only place TEIN really performs is with their line of coilovers that cost around 1200 bucks.

Stick with Eibachs... but make sure your buddy upgrades his dampers. Eventually going to blow out those stock dampers. Not to mention the bouncy ride, bottoming out, etc.

Don't worry. He set himself a $900 budget for full suspension. He already had rims, so he plans to get tires, springs, shocks, and camber kit. Possibly sway bars if there's money left
