Default cams and valve adjustment

i picked up some web camshafts, and i'm going to be installing them myself. i was told to do a valve adjustment after installing the cams into the head. i have never done one and i dont have the tool. A friend of mine who's father owns a garage about 15miles from my house offered to do the valve adjustment for me for cheap.
Would my car be safe to drive the 15miles? it involves going on the highway.

thanks in advance

You don't need a special tool. The tool simply makes the job easier. All that you need are a 10mm socket, a flat head screwdriver, and a set of feeler gauges. You'll have the valve cover off of the car anyway when you install the cams. If the valves are adjusted too tight and you run the engine, expect significant blow-by.

You can find a manual if you search google for "hondahookup manual".
