not sure about the flow characteristics, but i know the quality isn't great. their exhaust systems are terrible so i can't imagine their intake manifolds being any better.

i've never had issues with the 100's of obx products i've installed/owned/sold over the years...so i guess you just got shitty parts or more than likely user error

The one I was suppose to install the flange was warped pretty bad. Guy sold it and went with a stock ported manifold

**** smog, i live in NC

but the manfiold is on the engine and in the car...it severly needed some port cleaning...that would NOT have been hard to do, but...well, the customer didn't even though it was recommended. we'll see how it does as soon as the cars done with paint.

i'm not running an h2b anymore cause the kits are peices of ****, but if a good kit comes out..then i mgiht, and i'll give the manifold a real shot and actually clean it up correctly and dyno..

Well the Venom style is a big manifold , you will lose power unless its going on a huge NA motor or a turbo motor.

i did a before and after test with a stock b16 intake manifold and a obx intake manifold. the obx manifold lost a decent amount of power, unfortunatly i forget the numbers. (20-30 maybe?) this was on a 500'ish horsepower (at the time) turbo motor. i still have the peice of crap laying around here on the floor somewhere, it was used for a few dyno pulls and that was it.

i wish all those cheezy obx, ssautochrome type companies would go out of buisness and quit ruining this industry.

are you guys talking about the welded sheetmetal one or the cast one?

Cast one looks just like a b16 to me but I'm kinda a honda newb.

The reason why they stay in business is because there are people out there that buy there junk. I am going to search for a post where a member boutght a obx manifold and reworked/tweaked it and made some good numbers with it.

I could write a book on all the horror stories iv heard about OBX cams. But more on topic iv heard that OBX manifolds start cracking. Its a stationary piece of aluminum!, it shouldnt break unless there are sever conditions, or you wreck the car. My buddy at work put an OBX manifold on his B16 daily driver and 15k miles down the road it started leaking. We found on of the runners had a stress crack. We work for Honda and yes we do know how to intall an intake manifold correctly. Im not a fan of them ill just port out a stock manifold if im trying to save money.
