whats the best tire for 60% street 40% road course for 17 in wheels any suggestions would be helpful?

I seriously suggest going with 15's. Cheaper, lighter, and easier on brakes and suspension.

If you're hell bent on 17's, then go w/ AVS Sports if you can get them in the right size. They wear like champs on road courses, and are nice and predictable.

I agree, 15" are the way to go unless you have brake fitting issues or something.

Chris Busse has a set of 17's on his R with a set of Kumhos I think. Ask him which model they are as they felt very nice on track at VIR and I know he drives it on the road.
