I just started noticing this more with my new exhaust. My car when i let off the gas, and just cruise with it in gear, does alot of poping and puttering; and sounds like real quiet backfires alot. Im not real sure if i need a tune up, or new plugs and wires or what it is. What do you guys think the cause of all this comotion could be?

what exhaust are you using? If its short or freeflow enough, oxygen will find its way back and ignite unburnt fuel, thus creating the popping sound. Also with b series, i'd recommend using premium gas, which is why its puttering. Does it smoke at all?

 

im not really sure, i dont think so. im also having a collant problem. it seems like my car goes thru coolant like there is no tomarrow. Im running a 2.25 inch catback with your typical large muffler. if i have any smoke at it, its white. any relation to my head gasket?
