I have the N1 on my EG with straight pipe and it doesnt have a deep sound , its kinda in the high side. The N1 is louder than the OVAL in my opinion cause I have heard both. The N1 one is also lighter

I love that oval muffler. I like the idea of it looking more stock to keep the pesky po-po off my back. How does it sound?? Loud? Quiet? Thanks in advance.

I got the es oval....The sound is nice. Not too quiet and not too loud. Plus i like the stock look to it and keeps the cops from bothering you.

So when you buy an ES Oval...do you go to a muffler shop and have the custom pipe an entire exhaust? I ask becuase I'm getting a gsr swap done soon in my 92 hatch.

Not sure, but its very short......like the length of the civic hb canister, but half the thickness. I sold the ES.....I'm running a DC2 muffler now.

is the es louder than the apexi ws?
these are all questions that run thru this board monthly, but its worth the knowledge because of money issues.

Yes it is. Part of the reason why I'm cutting off my WS muffler and welding in an ES.
