Default help *possible HG*

well my wifes 90 teg had a crack in the top tank of the rad , she got stuck the other night and was obviously reving the **** out of it cause the crack doubled .i tried to patch it up , but that might not be the issue

top rad hose gets nice and hot , and once all the air is out it has awsome heat. but why does the lower hose no get hot , is the system that good .

also ive had water in it for the last month since it was spraying out so much coolant . it got really coold last night and the lower hose was almost frozen . i could still squeez it so it wasnt solid . i went for a drive and there was another air pocket in it . it ran fine and had heat all day yesterday .

i should put a thermostat in it but when theres no air in it it works mint . i wonder how the air is getting into it though

Normally by bottom hose is cold and only gets hot after the car sits for a while. Replace the thermostat and rad and then do a compression check to be sure of anything at all.
