Your better off to cut your springs and save your money for some real springs.

I had the wannabe ground controls (they look just like them - red and gold) for 2 and a half years before my X got stolen and I couldn't find anything bad to say about them. I got the integra ones so the spring rates were nice and stiff. I also used I think 88 accord front shocks so it was seriously SLAMMED. The only problem I had was I could never get the rears to be even with the front, I think it's because of my KYBs had a cup that the spring was supposed to fit in but it wasn't the right size..

For $100 I would seriously consider them, they are not that bad. They aren't Teins or anything but they are fine for a beater.

WRONG.. it's dumb and unsafe to cut your springs. i could believe that its a better idea to WAIT and buy something worthwhile..

heres a pic of my car (generic coils) .. back is all the way down, front is up about an inch on the coil

i want it lower than that really, i might just leave the metal sleeving out and just put the springs on, if thats not low enough i might chop them. Its not going to be driven fast, i just want it LOOOOWWWW

Yes, it is also DUMB to get cheap coilovers. My point was it is useless to buy cheap coilovers...my point was save the money and get something with quality.

i bought my coilovers off of ebay... the company is Tom Motorsports i believe... the front spring rates are 450 and the rear are 350(but i switched them)... but thats only if you buy the ones for the integra like i did ... i ran on those with stock shocks for a while and it was very comfy... now i have kyb agx with the rear set at full stiff and the fronts at 3... now its firm but still rides good... and i have a little wheel tuck in the front and cant quite get wheel tuck in the rear but its close... i paid about $75 shipped to my front door step

Theres nothing wrong with ebay coilovers..They all ride rough, cheap or expensive ..Try and get some dropzone 0"-4" coilovers,,They were $50 shipped to my door and came with rubber mounts instead of the bullshit metal ones that squeak alot..Theres no sagging and no corrosion..Been through 3 years of NJ winter..and the car actually rides good as long as you dont lower it more then 1.5"-2" ...And it handles the corners like a go kart..

I dissagree completely, imagine if YOU had a very limited budget to spend on your daily drive but wanted to look a bit better. its not for racing or any fast driving at all, i just love slammed cars so why not get the cheaper coils, rather than spending £700 plus on some coils i wont even use to there full potencial. its a 1.3!

slamming ur car on ebay coilovers is going to be the worst ride! i had ebay **** on tokiko blues on my old car slammed just like you want it and it was the worst ride after about a month, never experienced it on stock struts and wouldnt want to, i would also say cut ur stock springs for now known plenty of people that have done that, and it rides smooth, and nothing bad ever happened
