I was wondering if you guys could help me out a little bit, I am experiencing Cylinders 1-3 misfiring according to Auto Zone. What usually causes this to happen? I remember searching and people said to do a tune up and I ordered some things from Import RP here on the Honda-Tech Marketplace and recieved Iridium plugs, wires, cap + rotor and fuel filter? Do you thinks its the issue or something else like timing or something?

Also it usually goes on when I start the car and sometimes goes off

 

Did you have them read the codes?

I would do your tune up and double check your timing.

Your distributor/or other ignition componets could be on the fritz/on the way out.

 

Yeah I am planning on doing the tune up, valve adjustment, check timing and change my tranny fluid so hopefully it goes away.

Another thing I noticed is when I first start it the RPM is really low then picks up and drops finally stays smooth....

 

one of the common things we see is that the plug wires are loose. autozone should have a little troubleshooting book...
