Default Crank pulley sensor question

ive done the search but nothing really answered my question. ok so i just swapped a jdm b16 into my 99 coupe (OBD2B). the b16 is i believe OBD0 because there is no crank pulley sensor. now do i need to swap a oil pump that has the CPS sensor on it, or can i run the motor without a CPS. i know ill throw a check if i dont wire it up, but will it screw up the motor itself? i will be running a Type R ecu.

I'm not sure if it'll mess with your motor but if I were you i'd put it on since your running a itr ecu. If not just run a jumper/p28.
