Try to stay with a name brand, Dei, Compustar, audiovox. I am a dei dealer so I pick this company over everything. They make-viper,hornet,clifford,valet,avital,python,and a couple more. I installed a couple of compustar and they seem decient. There is nonething wrong with this company and I reconmend them if you do not go with a dei product. Look for alarm that has features that you might want to add later. Dont get a alarm that has 1aux if you want to add extra controls like sunroof, trunk pop, windows. What is your price range on a alarm. Make sure you get a back up battery too, It will keep your alarm running if the theif manages to get to ur car battery. Oyea ur car has that factory immoblizer that needs to be bypassed to get your car to start. That will slightly raise the price of ur install. you can find them on the net pertty cheap

I work for a car audio shop and we sell clifford. I have one in my 02 Accord coupe myself and I have had no problems. Mine is even an LCD screen 2-way with remote start. So basically I can back it up, that if installed correctly, these are good strong units.
