vtec burning oil
mine does the same thing but white smoke, try searching and you will find a lot of things about this. run a compression test, after do a leakdown test and it will pinpoint the problem. most likely the rings are bad or something around that area.
Black smoke IS NOT BURNING OIL...
Black smoke is RUNNING RICH
White smoke is BURNING COOLANT
Blueish smoke is BURNING OIL
And YES it is common for VTEC engines to "drink" a little oil when driven hard...

yes he is exactly right, i just couldnt think what color means which.
