Default C.H.A.S. Unique idea!!!

CABLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM

I thought of this crazy idea to use a system of levers, pulleys and aircraft cable connected to the lower control arms that could be used to alter ride height....

for simplification I'll explain how the back would work (the front will work similar but this idea is so new to me that I haven't thought out the front as of yet)

So basicly you mount a lever or ratcheted drum where the ebrake in your car is(say a stripped ef for sake of arguement) then you run two cables towards the back each one going to a pulley mounted directly above the lower control arm. Then you drill a hole through the floor and connect the cable to the control arm.

When you pull up on the lever, it tightens the cables which pulls the lower control arms closer to the body thereby altering your ride height.

For the people that say its unsafe, well then perhaps the system would only be used when the car is parked (thereby resting the frame on the ground, replacing your e brake )

What do you think? I haven't slept for awhile in case that matters.

How about a hand crank ?

Was this thought up for some sort of anti-theft device? or do you just want it to "lay frame"?
