H22 distributor on H22 in an EK running a P28 ECU?
I'm asking this question for this guy that emailed me. "Would i be able to use a 98 H22 distubitor with a p28 ecu on my h22 in a 97 Civic. i know its obd2 and the harnesses are different i just dont know if you can change the plugs." I don't see why it wouldn't work but i just thought i would double check with everyone here. I used a 99 GSR distributor on my friends B16A in his EG with a P30 ecu it and it worked just fine, all i did is chop off the DX distributor harness and match all the wires to the internals. Thanks in advance!
works fine as long as the crank trigger is wired up. remember the crank position sensor is inside the dist on the OBD1 dist and is on the crank snout on the OBD2 cars.
