Default b16a sirII w/hydro tranny into a '87 crx?

hey guys im pickin up a '87 crx for 75bucks off a buddy, i already have a ek hatch w/ a b16a sirII swap. im tryin to figure out if its possible to put that swap in the crx..being a hydro tranny motor i know im gonna need to get a cable to hydro conversion kit, motor mounts etc.i was wondering if anyone knew how hard the swap is to do and would it be worth it?

I heard it is definitely not easy, but Hasport makes mounts I think. Someone recommended that redpepperracing.com was a good site for people looking for swap info on 1g crxs?

yea i know hasport makes one..i havent looked up prices yet..im jus tryin to compare if it would b cheaper to do the swap or to jus do lsvtec like originally planned

i used to have an 87 Civic Si with a B20B/VTEC. It was a really tight swap. It had a bout an inch or less between the intake mani and the firewall and alittle over an inch inbetween the rad and the DC header that i had.

It ripped though. It was such a fun little sleeper.

thats sweet..one of my friends has a fully built b20vtec in his ef..and that ripps like crazy..i cant imagine what it would b like in a crx..and thanks for the info

it isnt a problem anyway...just wanted to give a visual to how tight of a fit it is.
