Anyone have experience with the 5zigen Heidfeld or other 5zigen wheels? I would just like to hear some stories of durability etc. Thanks.

I haven't had any experience with them, but I heard it's good quality! I love those rims, they're sweet!

 

i've had both the old schoo DIV 3 N1R's, and the Heidfelds.. 5Zigen didnt have any problems w/ them at all.. and i live in bumpy *** pothole So Cali..

Oh well. Worth a shot. How was the overall finish of the wheels? Did you have the gold or silver?

 

i got silver... finish was good IMO.. i've used hella wheel cleaners on them and they still look very good never had problems w/ the finish on either of my wheels.. their not as light as my SSR's but their still pretty nice wheels..

I had them in hyperblack but never put them on the car. It's very nice but too heavy for me. I got C8s instead.

 

They're available in 1-piece and 2-piece versions. The 1-piece are lower priced, the 2-piece are pretty damn expensive! Nice wheels, but not very light. They're definitely not the heaviest out there in it's class/price-range either tho.

 

When you say too heavy, what do you mean? Most things are too heavy when compared to the C8s!

 

I have been researching 5Zigen for a while and have found no negative comments about them - other than that they are middle weight rims. I ended up going with some 17"s that weigh 17lbs each.

is says that they weight 24.3 lbs!!! That is a bit much for my blood.

 

I have had the 5-Zigen N1R-spo8's,5zm, Division 3's and Copse, overalll very happy first class quality, never 1 dent. The only problem turned out to be my fault.......on the Copse it only comes in 17x7.5 which was too wide to clear my Civic hatch fenders. I think the Heidfeld is 7.5 too.............just something to think about. If they made that wheel in 16x7 w/45 offset I would buy it in a second

Yes, i meant that heavy. I actually weighed mine on a bathroom scale and it was around 23-24lbs. So i traded it to a friend for the C8s.
