ran a 15.6 ls in 91 hatch is that good???
my car is a 91 civic hatch. rear seats have been taken out. the motor is a 96 ls only mod is a intake running off of a 92-93 ls ecu (revlmiter at 6.5k), still running on the stock civic exhaust. times were on my stock 13" steels with costco tires
this was my first time racing with this setup.
this was my first run so i had no idea what to launch at, launched at 2.5k and it went straight to the limiter
1st run
r/t - .405 (the timing system over here doesnt start at .5, it starts at 0)
60ft - 2.487
1/8 - 10.286
mph - 69.530
1/4 - 15.836
mph - 88.255
this launch was at about 1.5k hooked up better didnt go straight to limiter, gripped at about 3k
2nd run
r/t - .766
60ft - 2.495
1/8 - 10.142
mph - 70.110
1/4 - 15.643
mph - 89.052
the first 2 were time trials, this one is in bracket competition. launch was the same as the second run because i dailed in at 15.6. but ended up missshifting 3rd
3rd run
r/t - .180
60ft - 2.488
1/8 - 10.225
mph - 69.672
1/4 - 15.825
mph - 87.940
so is this good times ? what are some of you other out there running with ls's in hatches ? tips on going faster besides adding more power?

That seems to be about the going rate with the mods that you have done. I've seen as low as 15.0 with the setup you're using. Get yourself some slicks and your times will dip some, but be gentle on those axles!
oh yeah. im hating my 60ft times, i mean i was getting 2.5 with my d15 dpfi. and now with this motor im only getting 2.4
i forgot to add im using a A1 ls cable tranny with a exedy 9.5 lbs flywheel and exedy stage 1 clutch or whatever the street clutch is
you guys think the stock civic exhaust is taking away alot of power?

have LS setup in a 95 coupe.with gsr tranny, should go faster.drive it well.I ran 14.5 on drag radials before c-bad was shut down.keep it real on the LS tip.

that trap is about right I run 15.5 in my d17 em2 all motor and trap 87.5-88mph
I think there is another easy .2 seconds to be had with some pratice
