Problem after the crash?
Helping a friend (88 LS swap CRX).
Last week my friend crashed his CRX into a pile of sand near the construction area. Will he went head on, so we needed to replace the radiator, front bumper and the hood mount first. The problem happened after we pull the CRX out and took it home. The engine sounds all right, but it smokes grayish blue and some time black (from the exhaust when we push the gas hard). The CRX never smoke this bad before.
When we where pulling the CRX from the pile of sand, the sand did probable got inside the engine near the timing belt and the air intake because the front of the engine bay was covered with sands.
Any idea?
