The proper air pressure has nothing to do with the size of the tire.
The best place to start is with the tire pressure recommended for your CAR, in the owner's manual and also sometimes shown on the door jamb or glove compartment door. Adjust from there if you find the need to do so, based on handling and/or uneven tire wear.
