Default Who uses projectors?.. lets see the setup

Well I did some searching and did not find too much that was what I was looking for. Is anyone using projector headlights in their cars? If you are, what setup is it and how do you like them? PICS?

I used to before I swapped front ends. I loved them. Thing is you have to find the right kind of bulb to make them worth it. I used (really expensive) Philips bulbs.

You'll either have to cut the wiring harness, or fabricate your own.
If you're planning on using the halo's, hook them up to a relay with a direct 12V feed... if you leech them from the corners or running lights they will be too dim and might flicker.

Hmm looks pretty good. I had a set kinda like that in my accord... they sucked! Everyone warned me beforehand. I got some bulbs for them..still sucked. Finaly threw down the cash for PIAAs and man what a difference. Was great. So now I am thinking HID projectors. I am just worried cause I know the housing is not make for HID and such a large amount of light can scatter and make for a real ugly beam pattern, or blind others. What bulb is used for the lowbeam anyways?

Here's mine. Got them from ebay about a year ago. They look ok although i should have opted for the black housing projectors. They do have angel eyes but i've never connected them. As far as quality, they suck ***. My driver's side broke, so i had to disconnect my pass side headlight and run with my highbeams instead.

It's some chapass ebay intake thing. Stuck a good quality filter on there, and be done with it. (Painted it myself)

Yeah, the headlights tend to fry, and other nastyness. Usually moist related.

I've heard with most of those projector headlights is as long as you use some silicon around the edges, they wont get foggy or anything like that.

I wanna get a set of black housing non halo projectors. My stock headlights are too old and foggy and faded.

stock headlights can be restored to like new condition y using some good mineral remover and elbow grease. ive also heard of ppl using fine grit sandpaper, but dont know if it works for sure.

I am a lighting freak.... optics are just as important as the bulbs themselves. best setup I had was on my GTI with dual rounds. The outers were normal, but I relayed up a set 100 watt hellas for the centers... you could not even imagine the things you can see with an sssload of light. I have had projectors before and liked them. I was just wonderin if ayone had retrofitted something.

Also.. is there a tech area where I can post a "how to"?
