Can you use Type R cams on a GSR and get better performance or would buying Skunk 2 cam gears be better? Anyone use Type R cams?

 

i have type r cams in my gsr not that big of a difference save your money and just buy the skunk 2's

You have Skunk 2 stage 1's? If so, how are they?

 

go with a ctr intake cam and itr exhaust cam and you will be happy.i have a friend running the setup and he loves it.or skunk stage 1 cams

 

i had skunk2 stage 1 cams in my car, they will give u more power then ctr/itr cams, they are larger and have more duration, there was an article about which cams yield u more power, and the skunk2 stage1s did very well compared to the itr cam
