To the best of my knowledge they are the same since tons of people put complete JDM swaps which come with axles in USDM knuckels all the time. However, today I finally got around to installing a pair of JDM Integra brakes on my civic which has a USDM GSR swap. Anyways, I go to put the axle through the spindel, and it won't go it. I had an old axle sitting around so I start to pound that in there and no luck. I go and try and fit the axle on the other sides spindle and it won't fit. I know that the JDM ITR's have diffrent number of spindles or something like that, so I put an old rotor over the lugs and they are 4x100 so that rules out them shipping me out a 4 lug ITR spindle. Am I missing something.

Arent the JDM axles 36mm while USDM is 32mm. But im not 100% sure.

Only the 98 spec JDM ITR axles are different. They're 36mm while everything else is 32mm.

 

thats what I thought. Must just have a little rust build up on splines of the spindles (they been sitting in my garage for 2 months, and who knows how long on the containor from japan to hmotorsonline.com)
