I just did a search and it was somewhat inconclusive, so I ask here:

What Honda transmission components are inter changeable?

For example, can I use a Type-R lsd on the 87 crx tranny? I managed to get the type r intake and injectors on, so I'm curious if anyone knows how far I can go with this.

seeing how it is a D series cable tranny, i would doubt that much would be interchangable

 

Yeah, but the components are doing fundamentally the same thing; diff, 4.4 r&p, I think that would be entertaining, I just don't have any experience doing mods like these, or have all that much knowledge of how the factory components are inter changeable.

 

no, unless you want someone to do some major work to the internals.
