Recently my speed sensor went out, so i went & bought a new one from honda installed it & it still doesn't work.

Problems:
cluster dims in & out
doesnt idle correctly
no vtec
no speedo

stock jdm b16(obd1)

I have no idea what could be wrong, nobody that i know could help me!!

Sounds like a bad ground. Check to be sure all the grounds, inculding the one at the thermostat housing as it feeds many engine sensors to a common ground point/plane. The instruments lights dimming could be any of the numerous under dash ground points. My money is an engine bay ground problem.
