N00B Question About Wiring The Lights On My Guages PLEASE HELP

Default N00B Question About Wiring The Lights On My Guages PLEASE HELP

heyyy.. i just bought some gauges with a triple a-pillar pod and was wondering what i can safely wire their lights into.. i need a constant 12v for memory, a switched 12v to turn them on, and a ground.. can someone please help me with what i can wire into or how to wire them up? Thanks Alot in advance!!!

Wow, only 19 minutes before you bump your own ****, huh?

Constant can be your horn, switched can be your radio, and the ground to a bolt touching metal somewhere.

im looking for something i wont blow fuses wiring into. i wired into my radios constant 12v switched 12v and ground and i blew the back up fuse in the engine bay.. any other ideas? thanks alot

lmao i got some **** gauges on ebay just looking to wire up the lights for them .. they are like 7 color glow ones.. like i said theres a constant 12v a switched 12v and a ground any ideas what to wire into? Thanks Alot !

Oh well ****, that's why it popped. The backup fuse is also the radio fuse. You probably had too much juice flowing through everything. Try again, but do what I said.

it is going to pop the radio backup fuse every time because it is only meant to carry enough juice for the radio either increase the fuse rating or wire it straight to the battery and put a fuse in the line

If you don't know what your doing, your going to pop fuses.

You can get everything at the fuse box, or the ignition harness.

if i run a constant 12v a switched 12v (using an actual switch) and a ground straight from the battery will it kill my battery ? ? ?
