Default passwordJDM 96-98 fog lights...???

well I have been looking for some JDM yellow fogs for my 98 civic hatch, Most of the ones I come upon are either in very bad condition, incomplete or high in price. While browsing on passwordJDM I came across these

EK '96-'98 Civic Fog Lights (Clear/Square)
Now available! JDM style EK '96-'98 Civic Clear Square Fog Lights. This is a complete kit! Includes both driver and passenger side fog lights, mounting brackets, wiring harness, relays, and a fog light switch. OEM quality and fit!

http://www.passwordjdm.com/pro...D=253

Now I know OEM is proably the best way to go, but these dont seem that bad and for about $120 for the complete kit I think its worth it. Was thinking about picking this up and spraying them yellow or putting the yellow film over them. I was just wondering if anyone has tried these and the quality of them etc etc..is the fog switch OEM? I am guessing the switch goes on the driver side lower left were the 3 blank sqaures are, I have a hatch so dont have any optinal crap in there (for optional stuff)I dont wanna have trouble mounting in there, Well just asking, thanx

nice..well reading from the reviews I might just get them, any pics of them installed, like pics of the switch, upclose of the fogs etc etc, Also Im assuming you gotta cut a bit of your grill on both sides for the fogs, correct?

I bought them from ebay. Only thing is my fog light switch is black while my interior is grey. I dont really care though. The quality is very good and i do not recoment painting them. I painted mine and i will be switching to the film shortly. Paint will get f'ed up after a while even if you do a good job.

wow I didnt see these, anyone have more info on these? are these yellow plastic (or glass) or just painted/yellow filmed. I'm guessing they are the quality and come with everything as the passwordjdm ones. I might just lean on the jhp ones now so I wont have to deal with painting/filming the clear ones, the only thing is that my buddy said he has the password ones and is willing to let them go for 80 bux (he bought them but crashed his car) but I dunno, still debating now cause I dont wanna be re-spraying or re-filming the clear fogs.

BTW anyone know where to by the film from

those are to much..just get them off ebay, for like 70 bucks, its the same thing. and if u want it yellow...they sell at paint at http://www.jdmshit.com for like 20 bucks. i got mines there, and they look exactly alike, how do u think they make money man? all those company are basically doing the same thing you are but instead their charging you for the labor work of just painting. AND yes the one on ebay is good, all plug and play with the oem switch included. so i sugguest u go with the ebay one and the yellow paint(long lasting) from jdmshit. unless u just want to say u bought it at this and that place. but ill go with the ebay one just to save a couple of bucks.

aight coo so it just seems all the companys carry the same generic fog light kit just add their name to it and jack up the prices. As far for ebay I dont like dealing with them (had bad experience, I know all u gotta do is look at the sellers feedback, but Im just not comfortable with it) So I think Im gunna get the set off my friend for $80 (passwordjdm set) and either buy the film or spray them yellow, since Im guessing all fogs that come pre-yellow (example jhp) are just pre sprayed or filmed ones anyways and like 20 bux more, How much are they at jdmshit.com? it just says SOLD OUT and didnt have a price, those come yellow already. SO know that I think Im set on these passwors ones, the question is painting or filminf???Anyone know what size I should get the film for these square fogs? and Im guessing the krylon glass paint is the best paint to use?

THE PASSWORD JDM ONES ARE NOT PAINTED.
The actual glass is yellow in colour.
that means no fade, and no peeling.
imo I would much rather get that.
plus its 100 percent complete kit.

this was confirmed by passwordjdm themselves that they arent painted.

well I was just browsing on password and they only have the 99-00 yellow jdm style. No square yellow 96-98 ones. Only 96-98 ones they have are clear like these http://www.passwordjdm.com/pop...quare) (unless they have just gotten them and not updated their site) the only ones that have them yellow and ready to go are jdmshit.com and jhp, but jhp is a bit pricey and jdmshit says "SOLD OUT" and doesnt name a price
