Sometime after having my clutch and clutch master cylinder replaced, i started to hear somewhat of a clunk derectly infront of the driver, towards the front, and down under the car. (thats just speculation, just definatly on the left front) Everytime i start the car in first after the clutch is fully depressed a clunk will happen but there will be no lagged performance. The sound usually happens when applying gas upon exiting a corner in 2nd. The noise in no-existant when there are dry roads, but when it rains it is prominent. I have to find out what this is, next step is to take it in to get it checked out. Does anyone have any idea what it might possibly be?

I've got the same problem. It gets worst in the cold weather!!!

i had a clunking noise on the passanger side, it was a cv joint that had leaked out all the oil. jack up your car and look at the boot. if you can see oil everywhere,or see a visible cut or rip in the boot, i would replace the axle.
