ok i saw these two on ebay the first is a set of traction bars......im going to be runnging a ek half size radiator with my turbo sohc, now it dosent have a place for a front mount would it be find if i window welded the back mount and put polyinserts in the side mounts or should i weld on a front bracket for the mount. if i got this i would weld on my own tabs for the ek radiator to sit a little lower so it can clear the hood.

the second thing replaces the front crossmember and is made to fit a half size radiator i just wanted to see if anyone has this and to see where the rad. sits, on this one you can get them with the front bracket.

also on the 2nd one it looks like the rad support sits a little lower to fit the radiator, but are the eg and ek the same radiator?

 

Out of those 2 i would get the second one with poly. bushings in there. I wouldnt trust those traction bars. Just get it then Test fit the 92-00 radiator in there. Supposedly it comes with a top radiator bracket too??? Good luck

 

About the first one, those brackets look pretty small ( thickness of them )

To hard to tell with out seeing the welds and what not.

DO NOT SKIMP ON A PRODUCT LIKE THIS

Ask them what kind of rod ends ( heim joints ) they use.
