should i buy an integra with a rebuilt title?
in my area integras are tought to come buy. i found a 99 ls with 41k mi for $9000.
the only thing is it was in a front end collision a few years ago and has a rebuilt title. the original owner wrecked it, had it rebuilt and drove it for a few more years. the second owner is the one selling it. he bought it for his daughter for graduating college and she says she wants something newer. one dime sized indentation behind the spoiler and a 3" "wave", "not a dent" on the wheel well.
what does rebuilt title mean, was it considered totalled at one time?
should i buy it?

Check for cracks in the frame. I'd have the frame checked for alignment... nothing wrong with buying a salvaged Teg. Mine is.
so the frame is the main thing i should be concerned with right? can any mechanic inspect that or who can?
other opinions please

Youll need a body shop to do that. Or an alignment shop that knows what they're doing.
The only reason I say that the frame is all you should worry about is that anyting else can be replaced. I would offer the owner considerably less....like 7k. Depends on condition but the frame is the most important part.
And rebuilt means that the damage was 70% of the value of the car. On an integra that isn't hard. My car was rearended. The floor pan in the spare tire well was crunched a bit so the entire floor would've needed replacing. Labor was what killed my integra.

the only way i would buy a salvaged car is if i was doing a swap of some kind or if i knew i was going to keep it for a long time, cause you know if you sell it youre not going to get what you paid for it.

my car has a salvaged title. but everything is clean. can not even find where it got hit when i first bought it. frame showed no signs of re-welding, no signs of damage anywhere and even has the Vin number badage on all the fenders, doors, rear hatch, etc.
the only thing missing was the front bumper and maybe the hood.
doesnt even suffer from the problems clean tegs have. such as leaking rear trunk and fogging headlights.
but 3 year later, my car has been in 3 accidents. all not at fault. 2 times when my car was parked and i was rear ended at another.
so watch out, Tegs are PRONE for accidents. Like magnets.
