Are they the same???

I have a 2002 honda civic hx , i was wondering what the difference was between the hx and the ex..?? help.

Its a completely different powertrain. An HX is like a DX with the lean burn motor. An EX has lots of bells and whistles.

so if i were to install parts from a DX civic such as headers, or intake would it work or wouldnt it??? im sorry i need help...
