GM cutting 30,000 jobs...will this affect the sport compact division?
Its been all over the news lately that GM is not doing so well and that they will be closing some plants and cutting 30,000 jobs...What I would like to know is, are they going to stop with their sport compact racing program??? is this going to affect any of you guys building cobalts for next year?

I wouldnt think so. Since our segment of the industry is the "future" of motorsports in my opinion. They need to keep planting their seeds in order to stick around in my opinion. Plus they dont even have that much in our industry compared to everything else on a global scale. We are talking billions of dollars here folks. What GM throws at our little niche is chump change compared to everything else they got their hands in. This is the biggest Automobile manufacture in the world. Who knows though.
