Pic's Koni w/ OEM springs (before and after)
I had a thread thats gone now detailing what was done. I replaced everything but the OEM springs and upper spring mounts.
Here is before:

Here is After:

Some of the lowering was done because the first didn't have anything in the trunk after I have all the interior spare, and my system.
It lowered about 3/4"
The best thing is the ride is adjustable. I have it on the softest in the front, and 1/4 turn from softest in the back. This setup is way smoother then my OEM shocks. I also had them at 1 turn each and it was pretty stiff. I haven't really messed w/ them much, because I don't get any bounciness now, and its on the softest setting.
I also made little cut-out flaps in the trunkliner so I could adjust them easily, as I just now put the system back in.
I also got some dustboots from a stearing rack, and some generic shock-covers.
Cut the bumpstops one ridge too, not that I really need to.
Let me know if you would like anyother pic's or have any questions.

are they the yellows or the sports??
you planning on some gc coils or something else for the springs??</TD></TR></TABLE>
Thanks.
Wierd thing is I thought the yellows were the sports. They are the Yellow boddied adjustable shocks.
The OEM springs are staying. I don't want to lower the car more then an inch, and since I don't have wheels I don't really feel like I look like a 4x4, more like AWD lol

When I started deciding on the struts I wanted I decided that it would be worth it to lower the car alittle as a first priority. Then the quality, and then price.
I ended up getting about the most expensive strut I could find
... but I'm very happy.
With the struts on the softest setting there is alot of suspension flex. With the struts at one turn of about two the thing rides like a go-kart, and turns w/o much roll, or dive.
So I guess you could say that its what ever you want it to be. That said, with the shocks turned up its harsh and not very balanced. I'm sure that a properly tuned set of GC's would be a better ride for daily driving if your looking to improve the handling on an everyday level.
I personally live in Kansas, every road is flat and straight. The main problem is the old roads. So I cast my vote for limo smooth, well smoother.
