Is it possible to convert the high beams to low beams so that all four beams will be on at once meaning I buy a set of low beam headlights, take out the high beams some how connect it so that both beams will be on, on each side

In case you weren't aware, each pair of front lights is one big piece. I would imagine it would be quite difficult to cut them apart and so on...
No I think he means rewire it so that when he turns on his low beams both sets turn on. So when you turn on the lights the outside and inside are on. Both being low beam headlights. I think this is possible if you rewire it a little.
You have to check the voltage output of both tho. Dont want to blow your new bulbs right with you turn them on. do think its possible tho. Might take a little work to get everything to work properly but its possible. you might have to use the high beam inserts tho cause I think the holes are different sizes then the low beam side.
Overall I think this would be too much of a hassle unless you really have a set plan on how to do it. Otherwise you will end up with no lights working at all.

Searched for 9005 conversion
sort of confused does that mean i would have to turn on the high beam switch to light both headlights ? which would basically light two high beams?

problem is that the light output of the high beam headlight housing is fixed to produce light that will shine into the face of oncoming traffic because the highbeam has a higher vertical cutoff in the projector housings.
it might look 'cool' but will get you tickets and possibly into or causein an accident which is NOT COOL.
I cant tell you how many fools in my town have HID kits on their civics with reflector beam lights and it has the same effect I describe above... but even worse with NO usable light on the road, all the light is right into oncoming traffic.... aaaaaaaaaagh!!!!

here is your 9005 conversion: http://www.bmwe34.net/E34main/Upgrade/More_light.htm
anyway i think that would annoy other drivers to have all 4 lights on at the same time.. because your low beams are focused/beamed to light the road/down whereas the highbeam pattern is more spread out and broad... not to mention you could get a ticket for driving w/ your highbeams on all the time.. and it might fry your wiring and put a lot of load to have all 4 on ALL the time.... it'll blind other drivers thats for sure..

Its not a retarded idea
i actually wanted to convert the whole high beam housing to a low beam housing so that both front lights are low beams producing low beam light on all four housings but angled towards the ground for better vision

in other words i want all four lights to be on at the same time but with low beam projectors its would look normal except for the fact that all fours lights are on
Not very easy, both reflectors are part of 1 casting inside the plastic housing(if I remeber correctly). Aiming the low beams also move the high beams. you'll have to cut it apart. I tore one apart before to put the projector low beam into my G2 teg headlight.
