From the search i've done, I thought the limiter on the pg7 is 7500. I'm running a dohc zc with this ecu. Mine only goes up to around 7000-7100. Is there something wrong with my ecu?
make sure ur car is nice and warmed up all the way... on my stock pm6 i can go as far as 6900 when its warm. when i had a pg7 i blew my last motor cuz i would rev at like 8500, i dunno how it let me do that but my rpm's jus kept going.......let ur car warm up real good then try it out. thats the only thing i can think as to why its redlining at 7000
stop redlining your engine. 7100 is fine for a zc you dont need to rev it higher.

those motors dont like being revved high. they are known drop power off at 6500 and blow up when revved over 7000.
i used a pr4 in mine, i forget what the rev limit was.. but i never hit it.
