Default Filler rod dia. for sch. 10

What do you guys use for filler rod dia. when welding sched. 10? Ive been using 3/32 but it seems like I sometimes have to use a little too much heat to melt the filler rod vs. the base metal.

Whats your preference?

Hmmmm, ill give some thinner rod a try. I usually do 2 passes, root and fill. I could see having to do 3 with the thinner filler. Ill give it a shot.
