Default want a lil more power no turbo or expensive parts

I have a 88 honda crx hf, with a 91 b16a1 motor and trany. I would like to know what will give me a lil more hp without going crazy with motor work. I change the exhaust already and have done nothing really else to it as far as motor is concerned. It is a show car and has about $10,000 in electronics and fiberglass work inside and is weighted down a lil bit. would post pics if possible Thans

Get a good intake
Even a shorty will increase the air flow which will make the ecu put in more gas = more power

The full cold air setup will do more, cold air is denser so you can fit more of it into the cylinder

It wont add a bunch of power but it will add some, and make it rev quicker

$10,000 in electronics and fiberglass work, and the only power mod is exhaust. That poor CRX. I hope you don't post any pics.

dude what are you talkin about it looks like from your sig you only have a "generic ebay short ram intake" as your mods, looks like you should watch what you say.

But on the real why don't you just supercharge it, you don't want turbo but you want a little more power without getting crazy engine work right?

Point? My car doesn't have "$10,000 of electronics and fiberglass" either.

I guarantee this car looks like the biggest rice rocket ever.

Still why thrash on someone just because you have different ideas than him, that is why I don't like some people on this forum, too quick to judge and say meaningless crap that doesn't even help the person. If you don't have advice, DON'T HELP, it is annoying. And now I want to see pics dude to see if it is "the biggest rice rocket ever" just because it has over 10k in electronics and fiberglass. Jesterian your ignorant.

I wanna see pics too, so I can prove my point. Alright, I was a bit rude, I apologize. I've been spending too much time reading the kills forum. Over there, the first thing people do is scrutinize a post for whatever they can dig at the guy about.

And it's "you're", not "your", ignorant.

If its a show car, doing things that will also look nice would be a good idea. Doing some high comp pistons and tuning car won't look bling.
But a Intake some neato looking cam gears a shiney header will all help a bit and improve your underhood looks.

why dont u just go with a nice 50 shot of nitrous....the power to dollar ratio is very good if ur on a budget....nitrous can be very reliable if used correctly...all those horror stories you hear are from people who have used it incorrectly...

I see we go alot of little kids still living at home spending mom and dads money on their little cars. All I wanted was a little help and what happened was a bunch of dick heads that probably sit home and get stoned got to say something stupid in reply. So when your dumb a##es cant find any change in the cushions of your couches to fix your frankenstein patchwork car, I'll stay fly in something you'll only get to drive on video games.
