Turbo filter
I know this is such af a silly question, but i'm not too sure anymore.
As far as i know, nothing is affected if i attach a filter directly to the turbo compressor outlet.
Am I correct or should I manage to get a pipe coupled to the turbo and to the filter?
I'm asking becuase there is no room for me to have a intake pipe on the turbo in my bay. I bareley have room for anything.
But the real thing that concerns me is the heat. The new filter will probaby sit right behind the radiator fan. Is heat going to be a problem for my setup? I realize that the filter will be getting a lot of warm air.

I have the filter right on my turbo, been fine so far.. I have an UNI filter..
But I have heard of some that disentigrate and are sucked in the turbo, just inspect the filter regularly..

Yeah its fine. Just got some steel mesh (tiny holes....like a window screen) and clamped it onto the turbo.
Works perfect.

It might seem to work fine now, but it's not good for the longevity of your turbo. Think about all the dust, sand and tiny debris that can be sucked in through steel mesh. Not good. Run a filter if you can.
