what would be my best bet keeping stock p72 with vafc or getting a chipped ecu?

 

Well, assuming the only mods you got done is whats in your description in your signature.... (i/h/e), I'd stick with the stock ecu.... and if you have the extra funds, then get a vafc to fine tune.

In your particular case I'd look into some higher level of engine management. I'd recommend a PowerFC, but a good Crome/Neptune setup would get the job done.

 

Its OBDI so just do Hondata. If it was OBDII id say VAFC.
