Okay i was searchin around on ebay and found a listing that said "SPOON Chip Acura 90-91 Integra LS pr4 ecu" i read it and it says the following

:This will increase the amount of fuel injected into the engine under acceleration. This chip also modifies the timing curve to increase horsepower throughout the power band. Depending on your engine combination, exspect 7-20 horsepower. Redline: 8200rpm:

Now i was just woundering, i heard this chip works but if i redline a b18 at 8200 wouldn't it damage anything? Even if i did it once in a great while racing. I mean i doubt i will get more power over 7k anyways. What can you guys tell me the positives and negatives about this chip? Thanks, Jim

 

With a stock head and valvetrain there is no point in revving that high. It's a waste of money.

 

Not just revving high tho, i wouldn't do that because its pointless but will it gain any horsepower? Im just seeing what the positives are? Thanks

 

its a knock off, spoon doesnt make chips.

and if you want a cheap chip.. there are a couple sites around advertised here on HT, that have chips that will work.. or there are sites where you tell them all of your mods, and pref(like where you want your redline). then they'll make one for you. this is the cheap easy way.
