i'm looking at getting a 2 way alarm system for my eg and it comes w/ remote start. i kno u can make it work, and the only thing is u just park w/ out putting it in gear.
my question is, has anybody out there had or heard of problems w/ their remote start? cuz if there is i dont even wanna deal w/ it.

its pretty easy to do, wiring at least, but forgetting your car is in gear happens. my friend pressed his engine start once, his car bumped the car infront of him, then that car bumped another car, i can only imagine what would happen if that was in a closed garge.
Your biggest problem will be if you leave it in gear, otherwise it's no diff. then installing it into an auto.
That said, why not just get one for a standard transmission, like a Compustar, http://www.compustar.com, and there are others.

ive been installing for 8 years, def get compustar, and there is no problem with them in manual cars you just need to bypass the clutch to start and it will not start if it is in gear, theres is a procedure when getting out of the car that assures the remote start that your in neutral
